ABOUT HOMOEOPATHY
To cure the sick and restore health is the basic requirement for every human being. As the life is dependent on multiple factors, different approach towards the restoration of Health has been sought from time memorable. Emergence of Homoeopathy is quite natural and indicative of very definitive concepts towards the life in both health and in diseased condition. Systemic practice of Homoeopathy is based on the scientific investigation and logical application in medicine developed by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, a great German Physician, who is regarded as the father of Homoeopathy. Homoeopathy is now an established system of Medicine, recognized all over the globe with good reputation of cure for all types of chronic and acute diseases.
In India Homoeopathy was accepted as a system of medicine by the Government of India through enactment of Homoeopathic Central Council Act 1973. Now it is included as a system of Medicine along with the other systems and incorporated under the National Health Policy. In the 9th Joint conference of the Central Council of Health & Family Welfare, considered the potentiality of Homoeopathy along with the other Indian System of Medicine and put them on top priority basis in achieving the national goal of Health for all. In India now Homoeopathy has become more academic with potentiality increasing day by day. Both Central and State Government are very much interested in promoting its practice by planning research centers, Homoeopathic Educational Institution. To increase its resourcefulness and accessibility among common masses by appointing Homoeopathic Medical practitioners at par with other medical system practitioners status at all level of medical practices. Thus Homoeopathy has vast potentiality in providing a good job satisfaction with challenging career in it. Youth interested in Health sector will find a rewarding job opportunity while serving the suffering masses through the Homoeopathic system of Medicine.

G.D.Memorial Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital was established in 2001 and has now taken a major stride in the last few years and has emerged as one of the eminent Homoeopathic education centre in the State of Bihar. College over the last many years made sincere efforts to blend theory and practice of Homoeopathy, so that students enrolled get sufficient confidence in implementing the science of Homoeopathy in a very artistic way.

Five and half year full time BHMS course is designed to focus on the standard practice of Homoeopathy by way of instituting knowledge and methods to practice in most classical way of Homoeopathy. The entire course is structured to prepare a confident practitioner in Homoeopathy. Career in Homoeopathy provide challenges to explore new dimension in health, as such require a most dedicated person to adopt it.
We at college ensure to instill passion to serve the suffering humanity with the most natural art of healing, i.e. Homoeopathy, by providing all the facility to acquire the clarity of mind in practicing this natural art of healing. ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Visionary Dr. Ramjee Singh a veteran Homoeopath and leading practitioner and educationist of Homoeopathy established G.D.Memorial Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital in 2001. His interest and passion for Homoeopathy, was realized by the establishment of GDMHMCH in the capital of Bihar at Patna.
A Governing body constituted under the G.D. Memorial Foundation trust governs GDMHMCH. It is recognized by the Central Council Of Homoeopathy, New Delhi. The Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and the Government of Bihar also recognize it. College is affiliated to the BRA Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, Bihar. In its very short span of life it has grown up as most successful and well developed institution involved in imparting knowledge through research and teaching in Homoeopathy by experienced academically qualified faculty members with ultra modern teaching aids.
Attached Hospital “GD Memorial specialties Hospital” provides the avenues for clinical teaching through its OPD and IPD where large numbers of patients visit for treatment. The college portfolio of long-term programme is diverse catering to the requirement of aspiring students for developing their career in the diverse sector of Homoeopathy

ABOUT THE CAMPUS
GDMHMCH is located IN East Ramakrishna Nagar in Patna capital of Bihar.. It is well connected by road, railway and Air from all over the country. College has its own building with decent furniture fittings and fixtures. There are separate block for each department. College campus is busy with activity throughout the day and night with Students and Faculty members interacting and busy clinic in Hospital wards. It provides a inspiring environment for all.
College departments are well equipped with laboratory instruments, models and other teaching aids materials. Departments are spacious enough to provide a very cordial environment for study and learning.
COLLEGE MANAGEMENT
A Governing Body constituted under the G.D. Memorial Trust manages GDMHMCH. Both trust and well-experienced educationists constitute governing body and they take keen interest in the development of the college and hospital.
